Planner: Hayley Lydig Events | Events by Jennifer Evans

I have hired Hayley Lydig to plan events, and I have been to events planned by Jennifer Evans, and that’s why both of these fantastic event planners are on this list! When it comes to professionalism and delivery of a high-quality event, you truly cannot get any better than Hayley or Jennifer. If one of them is booked for your event date, contact the other!

We’ll start with Hayley Lydig Events, since I’ve personally worked with her: When Hayley says she wants your event to “be the best ever,” she means it. When I worked with her on the Trending Northwest magazine launch parties, Hayley was serious about making sure the party she planned exceeded all expectations. We gave her a fairly difficult theme, and not only she did execute it perfectly, but she also created a backdrop that was a showstopper. Everyone wanted to talk about it – in the best way possible!

Photobooth: Electric Photoland

Is there anything more fun than a photobooth at an event? I have to say, outsides of weddings, I was skeptical that a photobooth would work. Aren’t corporate events more boring? Well, let me tell you – I’ve now experienced several corporate and nonprofit events where Electric Photoland was the photobooth host, and people love them!

We have had Electric Photoland at our events, and they are such a pleasure to work with. Electric Photoland stands out among other photobooths with their professional customer service, incredible attention to detail, and high standards. EP has guided us by suggesting the best types of photobooths for our event, making our events even more memorable and just plain fun! They truly care about your event and the memories you’ll make, so they go out of their way to talk to you and get a feel for what you want from your unique event. 

Our favorite photobooth options from Electric Photoland are the Glam booth and Hendrix, but you can’t go wrong with any of the booths offered. Pro-tip? Get the 360 booth if it’s in your budget! It’s so fun, and no one can resist a spin in the 360.

Having hosted events at the Spokane Club and Arbor Crest, it’s truly a tough decision to choose which venue is best for your party! Luckily, both of these venues are very different and offer something unique, so you’ll never go wrong choosing either one of them.

Arbor Crest is located in northeast Spokane – basically just north of Spokane Valley. It’s definitely not downtown Spokane, so if you’re looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of downtown, Arbor Crest is the place for your party! Arbor Crest is a winery venue, making it an excellent location for weddings, corporate events, casual celebrations – just not a kid’s birthday party (because of the wine!)

The view is one of the most incredible parts of an event at Arbor Crest. Your event options include Croquet Court, overlooking Spokane Valley, the Gazebo Patio, Vineyard tent, and/or Arbor Crest Wine Cellars tasting room.

We hosted a small party in the winter at the Arbor Crest Wine Cellars tasting room, and it was delightful! We rented out the whole space, and it was cozy, charming, beautiful – plus the wine and food was delicious. Best of all, working with the team at Arbor Crest was a delight. They’re professional, dedicated to making sure you have a great time, and communicative. We basically didn’t have to do anything during the event itself – the Arbor Crest team handled it all!

Booking early is highly recommended as Just American Desserts has limited availability due to their high demand and reputation for creating unique and delicious cakes. 

It’s worth mentioning that the owner, Eva, is no stranger to the world of baking. She gained recognition by placing 3rd during Season 7 of the Holiday Baking Championship on Food Network. We’re avid JAD-goers even without events, and we can attest that Eva and the JAD’s team make incredible caramel. You won’t go wrong ordering any kind of cake or cheesecake with caramel in it!

We are huge fans of Sarah K and her cookies – my personal favorite are the sugar cookies, and Blake is a fan of her snickerdoodles and caramel drizzle cookies. You can typically find Sweets by Sarah K at the Fairwood Farmers Market during farmers market season, but Sweets by Sarah K also caters!
