The Rental Market in Spokane
If you’re not familiar with the rental market right now in Spokane, know this: it is hot! In addition to the housing market jumping 8% in one year, the rental market has adjusted accordingly. According to RentCafe, Spokane’s rental market has climbed 7% in the last year.
We started by covering what $1,000 rent in Spokane will get you mainly because, according to RentCafe, $1,023 is the average rental price in Spokane, for a square foot of 891.

$995 – 2 bed/1 bath – Red Rock Property Management – Garland District
This cute two bedroom, one bath unit (810 sq ft) rents for $995/mo in the Garland Duplex. It’s part of a duplex community and looks to be recently updated, with granite counters, and comes with appliances (washer/dryer hookups). $1000 – 4 bed/2 bath – Rent.com – North Spokane
This north Spokane home is on a large lot with a detached one car garage. For 4 bedrooms and 2 baths, this is going to go quickly!
$1000 – 3 bed/1 bath – HotPads – North Town Mall Area
This cute little house actually has a 2 car garage, which is rare in this price range. One bath, which is common throughout Spokane, but it looks like it also comes with a washer and dryer. No pets allowed.

$880 – Studio/1 bath – Craigslist – Just East of Gonzaga
This studio apartment seems more fitting for a college student (or graduate student) at Gonzaga, but if you want to be close to the city center but far enough away from the downtown bustle, this is not a bad option! This 2 bed/1 bath duplex is in Garland and located near North Town Mall. Washer and dryer looks to be included, but it’s not clear if it allows pets. For more information, click here.
