Restaurants in Spokane Offering Pre-Made Cocktails To Go

Recently, the Washington State Liquour and Cannabis Board announced it would allow restaurants with liquor licenses to sell pre-made cocktails to go to customers effective immediately.
Given how successful alcohol to-go was (beer, wine and cider), we here at Everyday Spokane are pretty sure pre-mixed cocktails will also be a hit!
But where’s the best place to pick up some pre-made cocktails around Spokane? Allow us to share some of our local favorites and a few new goodies popping up during these crazy times.

What Does This New Ruling Mean?
Previously, the state liquor board only allowed restaurants to sell liquor, wine and beer in its original packaging. It’s why places like Arbor Crest could stay open and sell wine to go, and why a lot of bars had to make do selling beer or liquor with mixers on the side.
Many restaurants innovated by selling cocktail kits, like Cochinito Taqueria and Nyne Bar, but now all restaurants with liquor licenses can make mixed drinks at the restaurant and allow it to be taken away.
This is an emergency ruling by the Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board, so it’s not entirely sure how long this ruling will be in effect, but it’s safe to say it could last as long as the shut down and quarantine period lasts. The liquor board decided to allow this emergency ruling in order to help restaurants and bars generate revenue during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Other requirements for having pre-mixed drinks sold in Washington include:
- All pre-made drinks must be in containers with a secure lid or cup without sipping holes or openings for straws
- Ensuring a complete meal is ordered with a pre-mixed cocktail order
- Placing the pre-mixed drink in the trunk of a car when delivering
- Guaranteeing that both the delivery driver and customer are 21 years of age or older
Restaurants in Spokane Offering Pre-Made Cocktails To Go
1) Wiley’s Bistro
No article about cocktails in Spokane is complete without a mention of one of my absolute favorites, Wiley’s Bistro. And we’re in luck, too, because one of Wiley’s cocktail options is my absolute favorite, the Huckleberry Lemonade!
Wiley’s also offers other cocktails to go, including:
- French Martini
- Wiley’s Manhattan
- Flying Frenchman
- Huckleberry Lemonade (my favorite!)
All of their pre-made cocktails listed above are $9.

2) Shawn O’Donnell’s
Shawn O’Donnell’s is has pre-made cocktails down: get a good sized drink all for $5 to go! Check out the photos below of their Peach Lemonade and Whiskey Ginger options.

Shawn O’Donnell’s has a whole menu of drinks, including classics like the Mimosa plus options for making your own drinks to-go (just make sure to call ahead and give them a heads up if you want something special made!):
3) Cascadia Public House
One of our absolute favorites on the north side, Cascadia Public House, is now offering pre-made alcoholic drinks in Spokane! Similar to other restaurants, you must purchase a full meal and the drinks cannot be consumed in your car (of course!).

4) Saranac Public House
In addition to serving pre-made cocktails, Saranac Public House is also offering happy hour – yes, during the pandemic! What a crazy deal.
You can enjoy Saranac’s happy hour to go Monday through Friday from 3-6 pm, Saturday from 11am-5pm and all day Sunday.
In addition, you can get pre-made cocktails like their Elderfashioned, Raspberry Lemonade, and Tito’s Mule!

5) Hogwash Whiskey Den
Hogwash Whiskey Den is one place we haven’t yet tried, yet comes highly reviewed among our friends and those at the Spokane Guild Foodies!
Hogwash has a variety of drinks you can get to go, including the Old Fashioned (Pendenni’s Club, 1881 Four Roses, Sugar, Angostura Bitters, Orange Twist) and the Penicilin (Famous Grouse Blended Scotch, New Deal Ginger Liqueur, Local Honey Syrup, Lemon, Laphroaig 10yr Mist). Just add ice and shake at home!
6) Downriver Grill
At the Downriver Grill, you can get a variety of cocktails, including the Huckleberry Lemon Drop (house-infused vodka, huckleberry puree and fresh lemon!).
You can also get food to go with Downriver Grill (much like the other places mentioned above), including the Burgerdome! Their ‘Burger of the Moment’ changes weekly, but you can get a burger and house truffle parmesan chips for $12! Add any bottle or can of beer or canned cocktails and get $1 off.

7) Twigs Bistro and Martini Bar
Just take a look at the awesome options from Twigs Bistro & Martini Bar! You can get the following pre-made cocktails – booze is included and all you have to do is pour over ice, shake, strain and enjoy!

8) Cosmic Cowboy Grill
Cosmic Cowboy Grill has a variety of tasty options, including:
- Mezcalita – Mescal tequila, orange bitters, strawberry rhubarb, blood orange soda – 12oz-$10 / 16oz -$15
- Spicy Huckleberry Mule – Warrior Huckleberry Vodka, house made spicy simple syrup, ginger beer – 12oz- $7 / 16oz -$12
- Smokey Mary – Nova Vodka, house made fire roasted bloody Mary Mix – 12oz-$8 / 16oz -$11

9) Borracho Tacos and Tequileria
With a name like Borracho (meaning ‘drunk’ in Spanish), you knew Borracho Tacos and Tequileria would be all over pre-made cocktails – just look at these slushies!

10) Boiler Room
The Boiler Room has some great deals, especially on Tuesdays, when you get the $10.99 pizza special (all day). Pair it with one of the following cocktails:
